High Country Training... the Facility
Located in the lower Kittitas Valley, 12 miles east of Ellensburg, High Country Training (HCT) boasts some of the finest facilities the area can offer. Built in 2002, the main training barn houses 25 12'x12' box stalls, tack room, wash race, heated viewing room looking onto the 80'x180' indoor arena and office along with round the housing for on sight manager. Other amenities include a 150'x 300' outdoor arena with roping chutes, hot walker, cattle pens, a 50' round pen and 150' octagon pen with attached holding pens for cattle. A satellite barn hold 7 stalls for overflow training and horses and broodmares and an office. All of this sits on just over 26 irrigated acres of pasture. Services offered at HCT include colt starting, performance training for pleasure, reining, cow horses and other, marketing, lessons and sale of farm raised prospects. Also available is Equine insurance thru Markel Insurance Company, one of the leading insurers in the horse market place.
